Quality Assurance

Companies that intend to remain competitive are subject to constantly growing pressure to increase efficiency and quality. Subsequently, for IT-service providers, the consequences are more and more comprehensive and complex customer-specific requirements.

In particular, in order to maintain their own high quality standards, companies in research or production in regulated environments, e.g. in the pharmaceutical, nutrition and cosmetic industries, must also include their suppliers in their quality and risk assessments. As well as software quality, information security and availability have an important role to play here.

To be able to offer a constantly high quality of service to customers, in addition to the customary standards, up to data has introduced a company-wide, integrated quality management, certified by DQS to the following standards:

  • ISO9001:2008 (Quality Management)
  • ISO/IEC 27001 (Information-Security-Management)

Besides the implementation of the above-mentioned ISO-Standards, and as the result of many years experience, we are especially aware of the standards and regulatory guidelines that our customers need to conform to.

In a regulated environment there are strict public authority requirements to be followed, e.g. in the pharmaceutical approval procedure. In the laboratory environment these include, among others, GAMP-Guidelines and the GxP-Standards.

To not only meet these current standards, but also be prepared for future developments at all times, uptodata is a member of various organisations that monitor and promote the further development of standards.

In this context up to data plays a successful part in the HL7-Organisation which is an international group of pharmaceutical and specialised organisations that have the further development of standards for data exchange in healthcare and pharmaceutical industry as their objective.

Thus, our service always corresponds with the current state of technology and guidelines – always for the benefit of our customers.
