Efficiency in Regulatory Reporting Is Now

up to data is releasing Version 3.1 of its product family iStudyReporter

up to data announces the general availibility of version 3.1 of its product family iStudyReporter. With automated preparation of registration reports, by means of a high-performing and secure software solution, iStudyReporter is setting the industry benchmark for the holistic management of registration-relevant data.

Thanks to methodical fulfillment of user requirements during the development phase, the new release of iStudyReporter offers a host of new functions and applications, plus outstanding user friendliness. The new release also integrates new technologies that are bound to become path breaking milestones for lab IT strategies in the coming years.

The core functionality of iStudyReporter 3.1 is its innovative RemoteCollector Technology, whose so-called remote collectors now, for the first time, make it possible to compile master regulatory reports drawn transparently from various data sources. Thus the user can now generate a report that combines data from a lab information management system (LIMS) with data from an electronic lab notebook (ELN) or the like. The report compilation process is fully automated, transparent and reproducible, which means that the solution fulfills a requirement that is indispensable in today’s labs – namely that approval reports can be created with minimal manual labor, reliably and efficiently.

With this new release, iStudyReporter is taking the paradigm of easy configurable off-the-shelf regulatory reportingto the next level.

The newly implemented Template Management function greatly eases the task of creating and managing multi-faceted report templates. It provides the flexibilty for end-users to setup and configure report templates and reported data tables. Besides many other aspects, this will ensure that pharmaceutical CROs, pharmaceutical manufacturing organizations and contract manufacturing organizations can accomplish the reporting and formatting requirements of various sponsors by configuration only.

With the introduction of scheduled reporting and load-balancing, this version is addressing the needs of automated "high throughput" labs that need to create quality related reports on a regular basis (e.g. trending on production batches).

Among a whole variety of new features and enhancements, the support for Office 2010 was introduced in the software, ensuring backward compatibility for Office 2007 and 2003.
